This website is a supplement to the in class course materials for the Early Childhood Education Focus Program of Study and the Learning Lab Little Spartan Preschool. Students and parents are able to look at and print course materials and documents.
Focused Programs of Study (FPS) are a challenging course of study based on a particular career focus. Choosing a FPS is an important way to help clarify goals, provide purpose and relevance to the student's course selections while in high school. Through the FPS students develop and strengthen academic and professional employment skills that help the student be college and career ready.
All courses in the Early Childhood Education Focus Program of Study are articulated with Portland Community College (PCC) which means students may earn free college credit if they meet the course learning targets with a C or better. Please click on the "Dual Credit" and the "PCC ECE" buttons below for more information.
In addition to learning about Child Development this Focus Program of study is a part of the Family and Consumer Science curriculum. If students are interested in pursuing a future career in the Family and Consumer Oregon State University is the only school in Oregon that offers education in this field. Please see the Oregon State FACS button.
Parents and students may access and review students grades through their own secure login through Parent/StudentVue on Synergy. Please click on the "Check Grades" to link to the directions for this process.
